Oh no! That would be a colossal pain in the butt.

hey bron - i see that you've got verizon - you should look into their back-up assistant service. it's free if you have an online acount. Twice a week at night it will sync your contacts in your phone to your online account, so they can easily be retrieved if this were to ever happen again, if you lose your phone, etc etc.

You're describing my nightmare. Good advice.

Hey i'm a long time lurker but this just happened to me so i had to say something. :) I didn't drop my phone in a toilet, I lost it and it was stolen. :( Anyway , if your phone bill is anything like mine, you'll be able to get a lot of numbers back by looking through your old bills. This saved my life. Hope it helps!

What a bummer about your phone, but Sarah had a good idea of going through your old phone bills or looking at it online. Good luck!

It also helps in case you wash the phone too! Ask me how I know :)

Perhaps you had all of your information stored in the SIM card? Does verizon use SIM cards? I have ATT. On my phone I can save my addresses onto the SIM card so when I switch phones I just take the card out and put it in my new phone.

----"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Sir Stephen Henry Roberts (1901-1971)
