« I Rode The Rattler 5 Times | Main | Boatneck For Two Complete »

May 31, 2008

You're almost done with "school"! You'll do great, I'm sure.

You are simply NOT going to believe this. I barely worked on boatneck for a couple of days. And I'm at almost the same point on the second sleeve. We are linked!

As a teacher, I am always so offended by how stupid how teacher prep tests are. We are intelligent people. Those essay topics sound like "How I Spent My Summer Vacation".

Anyhoo, I love your blog and think you are interesting. I've lost two readers in recent weeks. I feel less like a gooberhead when I read that you feel the same way about losing readers.

Andrea (noricum)

Ooooo.... that's going to be a pretty quilt!

(Hee! Sara: you have an editing error in the sentence where you're complaining about how stupid teacher tests are! That's a funny irony!)

Gee, I sure use a lot of exclamation points!!!

Plain Jane

I especially like the rust, green & tan fabrics. Those are similar - though brighter - than the colors I'm using for the latest hat & scarf set I'm making for charity.

Too bad about the Vine Lace vest. I hope you get it worked out.

----"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." - Galileo Galilei

----"The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it." - George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)

----"I do not consider it an insult, but rather a compliment to be called an agnostic. I do not pretend to know where many ignorant men are sure -- that is all that agnosticism means." - Clarence Darrow, Scopes trial, 1925.

----"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Sir Stephen Henry Roberts (1901-1971)
