The crochet magazine seems especially useful :) It's great to have you to review these things since I almost never buy magazines any more. And then you mention something you liked and *then* I go and have a look :)

And I have been enjoying my crocheting lately...

PS. Wordpress is great (and free)!

i'm going to have to check out that issue of Creative Knitting. I did see a couple of designs that called out to me.

I had the same reaction to the latest IK - if this had been the issue I'd looked at before I subscribed, I wouldn't have done so. I saw the granny square shrug when I looked through the crochet magazine at the store. It is cute.

Ooo, I think I'll have to get a copy of Creative Knitting. That baby blue frumpy thing is *not* to my taste, but I really like the purple tank top and the beige shirt that follows it. :) I've been wanting to make a bunch of tank tops.

I didn't pick up the new IK or the Knitters. An era has ended.

Did it take you 800 hours to type in Typepad? It was driving me crazy. I couldn't even cut and paste in their "rich text" much less type. There would be this long lag between typing a letter, or deleting letters before it would actually type or delete. For this I'm paying good money? I don't think so.

I have just been researching plant hangers. I could only find 3 online patterns and wasn't impressed. I like this one.
