I bought the book too and plan on making both the shrugs (BTW, there is a tweak listed online for the Easy Shrug one-slight sizing change to make it fit better http://www.mjcrochet.com/revisionseasyshrug11.html

I also plan on making the little keychain bags to use up my Omega that's been sitting here. She's a member on Ravelry and I had written to her with a stupid question about general sizing (perhaps reading the intro would have helped) and she's super nice-look under my friends in Ravelry.

You are really encouraging me to learn to knit! I like both of those sweaters from VK. I have about 2-3 projects to crochet - then I am going to venture into knitting!

I really like the sweater on the cover of the Positively Crochet book - and the shrug and the skirt. I would bet those tassels though would tickle the tops of my feet!

That shrug would so go with my wedding dress...think you could whip it up for me in 15 days????? Beautiful!

So what you're saying is that I need to 1. get the Spring VK and 2. learn to knit or find someone who does knit, because that shrug would be absolutely gorgeous for my early autumn wedding? Sigh. You kill me Bron!
I like Positively Crochet. I thought the shrugs were cute, and if I recall correctly there was a purse or two that caught my eye, though nothing I couldn't wing without a pattern. Simple stuff, great book for beginners I think.

I'm so glad you wrote about the latest Vogue! All I've seen about on line so far has be negative, but I like it. I'm planning to make that cover sweater, even bought the Pakucho cotton for it (I think the gauge is right), and I love the green one with the buttons. The wedding stuff is fab, and there's a blue sweater...well, I just like this issue.

Vera

I have the yarn for the VK Cover top; it's very nice for summer. I saw Positively Crochet at the bookstore, but did look through it, but I need to.
