I go in to work for two hours & find out one good friend is getting a divorce (not totally unexpected, but still...) and my best friend at school is turning in his 2 weeks notice - and moving back to Iowa for awhile to be with his aging parents. It's the best move for him at this time but....I'm selfish and don't want him to go. Sniff.
Then after some blog reading I find out another good friend just got a diagnosis no-one wants to hear.
And you know that sweater I just finished? I wore it half an hour & remember the real reason I didn't wear the first Cabaret I made. The neckline is too high! The front just cuts across my trachea and I'm constantly pulling the front down. I'm going to see if I can wash it, then block the neckline bigger but I'm not holding out much hope.
Not a big problem after the first three things I listed, but it certainly is the icing on the cake, eh?
Grump, whine, kvetch, whimper, moan.
Now where is that magic wand that makes everything better????
That was the only part of Cabaret Raglan that i didn't love. If I were to ever make it again, I'd have to lower that neckline too.

Bad news is never good. I hate things like this. And, I'll take the sweater off your hands if it didn't work out. I'll trade for yarn! It's beautiful! Very nice.
