« Year In Review Part 3 And 2007's Final Entry | Main | 'Taupe' O' The Mornin' To You »

January 01, 2008

I am so making these for myself-I haven't crocheted since the 23rd and the ghan is looming and I need something small to get me started.

BTW, great review-again, how you keep track and put it together amazes me!

Lisa in Oregon

I used tweedle dee for hats, and I'm in love with it...I think it's fabulous!

Yeah the weight thing. I looked on my stats at the weight loss site I'm on...I've lost/gained the same 5 pounds about 10 times in the last six months. It would have been a lot cooler to lose DIFFERENT 5 pounds each time! I'd be 50 pounds lighter! So, No it's not hokey to recommit at new years - you go girl!

Happy New Year! I really like the Victorian Mitt in black.

I love the manicure and the mitts. Very nice.
I've enjoyed your year in review too. I think the best thing is to learn from your knitting and what works for you and what doesn't.
I know I am a stockinette queen and I'm proud of it! Good luck with going back to school.

Patons Grace is such a nice yarn; I look forward to watching you make Leaves.
It stinks how work plays havoc with both knitting and exercise time.

Great review BTW. Happy New Year!

Here's wishing you patience and encouragement in your 2008 goals! I too hope have a health related goal and I too know I won't be able to knit as much this new year as I did in the past. It's nice to see that you're going to focus on the projects that make you the most happy.

Oooh, the mitts are so pretty! Do you think alpaca would work for those?

Those sound like some good, realistic goals. I really need to exercise more myself this year. I know that I won't be losing much weight, but I do need to be able to ride my bike here in the mountains this summer - my daughter has finally gotten the hang of the Bike Thing and wants to go on rides with Dad *and* Mom.
