Andrea (noricum)

Perhaps the freaked-out lady reported him and asked to have him removed? (It would be kind of sad if he was removed from the class for that reason.)

A surprising resolution to the odd-student problem. I can see that they wouldn't want their classes disrupted, but it is a luxury to be able to just say "he can't be in that class", isn't it?
Your teacher and class sound great. I hope you thoroughly enjoy it.

Gosh, I kind of liked that guy! He was harmless; seemed like he just wanted to help out and get things moving along.

Did the teacher explain why she was a no-show for the first class?

Have a great day everyone!

A little bit of overreacting, huh? She sounds like a neat professor. I like Native American stories. She is a Harvard graduate, too.

They both sound like loons but I'm glad your actual teacher showed up!

I lug around huge amounts of stuff that I never, ever use. But just in case.....

Congrats on finishing Colin's quilt! In the same millenium! ;) Too bad about the too big watchcap but it is cute.

I don't think he was removed from the class by the administration, I think he removed himself. Honestly, the reaction to what he did was so bad I'm thinking he was too embarrassed to show up.

The crazy lady, I'm sure, just transferred to another class.

And no - we got no explanation as to why the teacher didn't show, just "thanks for your understanding." Which was kinda dumb, since we didn't understand ANY of it! LOL

Understanding meaning 'not bitching to admin?"
