National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a big hit here, we watch it every year. A Christmas Story too, but it's been on so much, argh, kinda tired of it.

I bought Elena a bunch of movies this year too-she watches the heck out of them. My mom got her a portable DVD player (I don't know why) and my mom bought her a bunch of movies and I got her the Austin Powers Collections (she loves Fat Bahstard-I know, bad mom) and the Order of the Phoenix, etc.

Glad you liked the soap :)

You know Christmas movies - particularly that many at once - would be akin to torture for me. I think I'd rather cut my wrists. LOL. Oh dear, so much bah humbug, I guess the whole Christmas commercialism thing is getting to me.

I am late sending out my gifts and my cards this year. I am making your southern pecan recipe for Tony's co-workers, they are in the oven right now. He must made 3 batches of snicker doodles. We are also making candy turtles, by taking pretzels and putting rollos or other candies with caramel in them and then putting them in oven for a few seconds until the chocolate gets shiny. Then, I take them out and push a toasted pecan on them. They fulfill the salty/sweet treat.

Tonight I need to knit up last minute gifts for Sierra's teacher.

I love your Christmas movie selection. I can't wait until I can work less and be able to watch movies and hang out with the family.
