I just ordered a few of these and received them yesterday to do some lace knitting (I love my knit picks set) and they really are beautiful and feel so much nicer than bamboo. You should give them a try.

I have a friend who just got the Harmony needles, and they are wonderful. They are very smooth to the touch and great to knit with. I'm going to order a set, also.

Another note: I just finished knitting the Juliet sweater, and I used Rowan Cotton Rope yarn from Elann. I did not have to use 2 strands to get the gauge, and it was a super-fast knit. Since you like the Cotton Rope yarn, you might want to consider using it for the Juliet yourself.

Happy Knitting!

I wanted them for their prettiness too and I don't even knit! LOL

Linda

I'm going to order the new Harmony needles in the DPNs. I've been wanting some DPNs, and these would be cheaper because they already have 5 needles in the set. I'm afraid to get the metal ones because the stitches would probably slide too much for my beginner skill level.

Margaret

I thought those Harmony needles were so pretty too! So tempting....

I haven't tried the Harmony needles yet - and, since you are a heavy duty knitter, will be very interested to hear your take on them.

Partly, I adore the Options needles so much, I can't imagine anything being better than that. You know, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Wanda

I'm thinking of ordering some of the wooden dpns, to give them a try, b/c I'm in need of new needles. Not to keen on the circs b/c I don't like the screw down option, but I also have lots of circ needles, so the system has never been appealing to me.

I don't however like the multicolored wood, but the price is cheap enough that I'll get over it if I like the needles. If not, I'm sure I can find someone to take them off my hands.

Pretty works as a reason for me......

At least Knit Picks will post to you. Judging by their international mailing policy, you'd swear Australia was another planet, not another country. Geesh. Sorry, grumble over. The needles are pretty and if your others are wearing out, then hey, why not. :o)

Kimberly

I have been drooling over those needles! I can not wait to hear how you like them as i just might be ordering some for Christmas when I go back to the US. The sweater is coming along great...knowing you, you will soon be finished and off to the next project or perhaps 'not-a-project'. =)

Garnet

I ordered some too...just cos they are too pretty! I have had the KP options for a while now and enjoy them. Although, if I do not switch between my knit and crochet projects my fingers start to get aggravated by the nickel. Nickel allergy, learned long ago when I was a child. So these Harmony interchangables will be too perfect for words!!! They arrived on Friday.

I heard only good things about the knit picks needles. The paint job is fantastic, amazing is a new car. Hopefully they will remmebr when they park the truck. lol! My mom thought her car was stolen once, after she painted it lol!

April

Ohhh the Harmony needles! So lovely. I have them on my wish list for Christmas. Now that I plan to knit, I figured if I planned to get circulars, I might as well get something that will last. :) Can't wait to hear how you like them.

Jewels

I was just looking at the wood sock dpn set today on Knitpicks site. Very tempting. I'll be watching to see your thoughts on them when yours arrive.
