I got that book too. Lurrrrve the pointy edged top! I am going to have to make that one. As well as get my grubby mitts on some DK weight yarn!

Hey! I preordered it on Amazon back in July and it still has not shipped! :stomps foot:

Very cool!

I've been working on sleeves for Ariann. Got one down and then got bored and moved on to a new sock instead! ;-)

The book looks pretty neat, esp. for a non-crocheter. I love that you now need dk yarn!

I do have to say that it's really smart to actually use dk weight or lighter for crochet so you're not wearing something very heavy when you're done.

Oh I'm SO with you on the DK yarn thing. I much prefer to use it for several reasons. I think it's kinder to the figure than the chunkier yarns (unless you're built like a stick and most of us are not), it usually drapes better, and particularly for those of us living in warmer climates, it means we can actually get more wear out of our handknits. I just wish designers would do more in DK yarn so we have some choice out there. I've been hinting to Interweave Knits for ages. :o/

That book's been on my maybe list for a while. Since I'll have to order it sight unseen, I've been thinking "Maybe Bron will review it and help me decide." So, thanks, off to order it now!

Looking forward to see what you will make!

(And thanks for the plug!)
