Elizabeth

I plan to make a larger than life bag also. I have some rowan dk cotton in assorted "southwestern" colors and some denim that I plan to use. It will be a good carry along vacation project.

Linda

I wish more designers read your blog. Enough said.

Carrie K

Sounds about right on the armhole/lower neckline, but the frogging! Oh well. Better done the way you like it, right?

Are you taunting me with Granny Square goodness? (No? lol) I MUST crochet me some. That bag is cute!

Garnet

We should totally have the larger than life bag as a CAL on fiber freaks! I have had my eye on that bag since I got the magazine! It's such a faboo bag! The weekender jacket is great too, though I am intimidated by the whole zipper gig. I would hate to make such a great wearable then mess it up by doing the zipper wrongo bongo. (you know that would So be my luck)

Bron

Cool idea, Garnet - I'll suggest it over on the board!

You know, I've never put a zipper in a knit or crochet item. That's part of the reason I'm considering making it - it'll be a bit challenging for me!

Carrie - Go ahead - catch the Granny Fever! LOL And yes, better a bit of ripping now than being forever dissatisfied with the project.

Linda - Thanks. I hear ya. 'Nuff said.

Elizabeth - Those colors sound great. I have yet to look in my closet to see what I have. Should be interesting to see if I can avoid buying new yarn! hehehe

Vera

Yeah! I'm really looking forward to seeing your version of Larger Than Life. It's a neat bag that's full of possibilities.

I agree, designers should really read your blog, but have you thought about designing patterns? Your experience would be so valuable.
