- I was a real stinker yesterday & managed to get out of subbing PE. Actually, it helped the fill-in sub coordinator. She had to fill 4 emergency sub positions so I offered to trade my job (which had a prep period) for one that had 4 full periods - one less emergency sub for her to find. :) So I ended up with a full day of 8th grade science, which was just fine with me. ::wink:: It was a win-win situation!
- I was so tired yesterday I went to bed before 8 and slept off & on until 5. I'm feeling much better & plan to make the lace cardi my project for the day. As well as crocheting an orange slice to match my lime.
- I'm going to buy a ball of yellow cotton today because I really will need a lemon slice to match both. ::wink::
- I've been haunting eBay for long skirts. The weather here has turned very warm. It's been close to 80 a couple of days and that's tank top/skirt weather, definitely! It blows my mind that other people are having snow. Of course, as I recall, back in December/January we were buried under a foot of snow while those on the east coast were wearing shorts! I guess the weather is finally evenly out.
- Can you tell I have absolutely nothing to say? hehehe Don't answer that!
- Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Happy St. Patrick's Bron :) Here in Toronto, the days are getting warmer and sunnier for the most part, but it snowed all night and it's gorgeous out. Light fluffy snow on all the tree branches with the bright sun shining on everything.
My turtle, Slash, decided to come out of hibernation this morning and he's now on his rock getting a sunbath. I'm going to have to get out the steak and tuna for him. If I open a can of tuna, my cat starts howling cuz he wants some, and Slash starts banging his shell on the side of the tank cuz he wants some too :)
I'm happy you got a somewhat good sleep last night Bron and are feeling a bit better. Once you get the court case over with and the house sold you'll be back to normal again hugzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I almost bought yellow yesterday. I eyed it for awhile. I will probably pick it up next week when I go back into Michaels.

I'd skip PE too,
I was at a larger city over the weekend...and a couple of the craft stores carried ALL the sugar and cream colors, but I held myself to two, since I'm not 'sposed to be buying yarn. Hey it's DISHCLOTH cotton - practically a neccessity, eh? :)

Lisa - Dishcloth cotton TOTALLY doesn't count. I don't know what I would've done if I'd seen all those colors together in one place! I know I'd have gone a little nuts. LOL
Wendy - The store around here basically carry yellow, white and yellow & white variegated. I suppose it was inevitable that I'd buy some at some point!
Jan - That's so cute about your cat & turtle! Thanks for the good wishes for things getting back to normal around here too. :) Hope springs eternal!
