Cute buttons and fabric!

I love those buttons! I got some a while back. I have that same McCall's pattern. I have "yet" to make it lol

They do the same thing here with the tacking on of minutes to make up for snow days... it is so dumb! What are the teachers supposed to do with those 10-15 minutes?

With an extra day, they can do a full extra lesson in each subject. With an extra 10-15 minutes, how are they supposed to allocate it? You can't alternate it between subjects, because the time frame for each subject intermeshes precisely, and so you can't just have 10 more minutes of math one week and 10 more minutes of history the next. Even if you could, it's not like you'd end up doing an extra lesson within that week, you'd just waste the time answering more questions about whatever the lesson would've been for the shorter time frame.

Um... yeah, I think you struck a chord with me, too. Suffice it to say, it's a dumb solution.

those buttons are awesome

Thanks, Vera! I'm thinking I need to knit an orange sweater asap just to use with those buttons! LOL

Adrienne - Obviously, great minds think alike. :)

Leisel - Amen, sister, you're preaching to the choir! In our case, the only classes that are extended are 4A & 4B - 10 extra minutes that will be ultimately used to get a "head start on homework." That's it.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Thanks, Toya - now to find the right project for them!
