Don't beat yourself up too much about not exercisiing. You haven't felt well, and there's been a lot of other things going on in your life. Besides, I can remember how unmotivated a person can be after teaching all day.
I'm glad the Lily Cotton has decided what it wants to be. The progress pics look great.

This is another one of those magazines we share - I've had a subscription for quite awhile and I enjoy it. I agree with your assessment of the covers. Rarely do those designs entice me, and its a shame because the magazine is a value. They often have patterns I've seen sold separately through yarn companies or catalogs. As a fan of Melissa Leapman, I look forward to her knit/crochet feature each month. However, it's rarely mentioned in the blogosphere (at least the corner I inhabit). It's too bad - I'd love to see interpretations of some of their patterns.

I'm glad to hear the crochet cardi pattern has turned out to be a good one. I despair of any company putting out patterns without errors. Not that it stops me from buying. >bg< Looking forward to the finished product!

That item on the cover really is yucky.

I've been trying to get myself on the elliptical all school year. I thought with all the kids in school all day I'd have time to get to it every day. HA! A few weeks I've managed to do it once. I've gained back most of what I lost last year, too... it's so frustrating!
