So - I get the newest Patternworks catalog in the mail and what do I see:
Pant, pant, pant. MUST HAVE! I didn't even have to look at the blurb underneath to know where that pattern came from: Tahki Stacey Charles Crochet Collection Spring/Summer 2007. (This is EXACTLY what I was envisioning over a year ago when I started on my motif tunic. I'm sure most of you don't even remember because I ran out of steam on the project! ::Grin:::)
Want more proof that this is a must-have issue? Check it out:
Sorry I couldn't get the image bigger, but you get the general idea. So pretty! So lacey! MUST HAVE.
Just a couple of days ago, I got a Roamans catalog in the mail and saw this:
It's gorgeous, comes in 7 different colors AND is only 40 bucks.
I couldn't by the yarn for $40. Yeah - I'm ordering it. ::grin::
I couldn't find the newest TSC Crochet booklet anywhere on line - they don't even have it listed on their site. I'm going to order it from Patternworks and it'll be interesting to see how long it takes to arrive. They don't have the fastest service at the best of times.
House selling news: We should be getting an offer today. The guy did show up yesterday (in a brand new, black Hummer) and brought his real estate agent (who had a brand new, black 4X4 pickup.) They made noises about giving this guy 3% of the sale but I don't THINK so. Sheesh. That's why we do a FSBO - no agent fees! This will be the 4th house we've done this way & it's easy peasy if you have a good title company. :)
Today should be interesting at work. I've been put into a job that doesn't really exist. The head of the Sped dept. will be gone and by law she has to enter her job on the sub line, but since she doesn't teach there's nothing for me to do. However, I have to show up & if emergency subs are needed I get to be sent hither & yon to cover.
Oh, joy. I hope I at least get a prep period for all my trouble! Thurs. & Fri. I have half day jobs which will really come in handy. I hope I get to keep them and won't get called in early to cover other people!
Happy hump day!
Beautiful tunic and cardi picked out.
I prefer the half days too-most don't, but I figure it gives me time to do what I want and then work part of the day-maybe I'm just lazy.

Heh...does that mean you get to knit/crochet while you're being her for the day?

I got my Patternworks as well. I also saw a beautiful cardigan purported to be from the Tahki Spring 2007 booklet, but it isn't up on their website yet either. I hate to be thwarted this way!

Thanks, Vera! I don't know why I couldn't find that page before.
Lisa - I wish I could've gotten the entire day! Imagine - a day's pay for knitting! LOL
Karen - Any time I can spread the joy of buying I'm a happy camper. ;:
Elizabeth - There's now hope that it's all available!
Deneen - I AM just lazy! LOL I'd love to have a half day every week or so. I could get some things done & it's a nice break. :)
