Ooh, I really like that Something Red too. That's a pattern that I plan on knitting sometime soon. It's so cute! I wish I had enough Red C-E to make it, as I'm sure I would like it. I might get some in black, hmm. It must be nice to be so in demand!! That's great that you are thought so highly of and that you are getting to go on a field trip and being covered for your job so you can attend your son's meeting!

Isn't it nice to be appreciated for good work? And what a lovely contrast to the encounter with the putz. Man, that woman is rude squared!

The black cardi looks great. Even taking a break you're making great progress. And I'm going to theorize why Something Pink has moved to the top of the queue - you're lovin' the short-sleeved cardi. In your New Year's resolutions you were planing to cut down on the cardis. I feel compelled to point out Something Pink is cardi #4 in the past two months. :-) (Nantucket, Fountain Lace, Black Lace, Something Pink) Perhaps it wasn't too many cardis in your recent kntting past - it's just that they all had the wrong length sleeve.

Yay for connections and for being 'so hot & in demand'!

Nice progress! So jealous.

Hey Wanda! Yeah, it's good to be in demand, but bad too since I'm usually so locked into jobs that I can't get the ones I really want. But at least days like today happen just often enough to keep me going. :)

If you'd like some red CE, I have some "in stock." Drop me an email if you'd like it. :)

Paula - Yeah, that really was a nice contrast after Putz Woman. (See - I think of her in caps now! LOL)

Just felt compelled to point out my cardi fever, eh? hehe I was wondering when someone was going to mention that. At least I made a purse in the meantime! And you're right - I do like a good short-sleeved or 3/4 length sleeve cardi. :)

Don't ever shut up either - I enjoy each & every comment you make. :)

Carrie - Yeah...I'm bad...oh yeah...I'm know it...I'm bad... think I need to shut up now! LOL
