The dye lot thing is strange-if you had run out of the yarn and tried to find the same dye lot, you never would have. Strange (strange enough I have to repeat it).

I recall a lot of people making the Penina last year, but cannot remember seeing anyone model it-hmmm

My decorations don't come down til the weekend after New Year's. One year I was so lazy, I said I was keeping them up for the Feast of Three Kings.

I think Lion just does super huge dye lots. I've noticed that on woolease bought at different stores. I can't believe I haven't gotten any new cotton ease yet. Glad to know that the knitting warehouse has it, I like them.

Your weekend sounds packed. I hope you have a safe and fantastic holiday.

I think I'm going to cry.

How does the color of CeCe compare to that of the lime green CE? To me, the pic of CeCe looks lime green... the pics of the lime green CE do not... they look more muted spring green.

I don't find the dye lot thing strange: LB make a TON of yarn. I discovered with the old cotton-ease that the yarn I ordered from a shop in Oregon had the same color/dye lot as my local JoAnn's (in VA), on the complete opposite side of the US!

I still love CeCe. :)

I leave my tree and decorations up until 1st January, but they don't stay up a minute longer. I hate seeing them after that date. I mean, by then, Christmas was SO last year. ;o) I'm still thinking of doing a CC, so it was good to hear you're still happy with it.
