Nice official school spirit shirt! Hope you feel better soon and get some sleep.

You look great in the polo. I'm looking forward to cooler weather too.

Bron, you really do look good in that! I love the Simple Knitted Bodice. That would be my #1 choice. I hope your throat feels better soon.

Thanks, guys. I really wish the contrast color was something other than yellow but hey - that's life!

I'm feeling a little better after a sore throat lozenge... of course, if I tried to suck on one & go back to sleep, I know I'd choke to death! LOL

Sorry to hear about the sore throat and the lack of sleep. Both thing bite, big time!

All your options look pretty nifty - but I really like that little bolero, for some reason. Very cute!

Ugh! Why are we all getting sick in *August*?!? Sheesh. I hope you feel better soon, and that yours doesn't wipe you out the way mine did.

Oooo... cute bolero!

4:30??!!???? Ugh indeed. Sore throats really are the worst. Hope you can rest up this weekend and feel better!

Love that you got a shirt - as if you didn't know the staff all love you! I would think the Principal would be glad to know you're excited to "be official"!

I am lusting over casting on for the cooler weather garments too! Must resist.

We have fall now here in norway. the weather is getting colder...I wish summer still was here, but winter is coming.... Last winter we had enormous emounts of snow. There had not been that much snow in over 60 years in the eastern part of Norway where I live. we had to dig out our cars in the morning and the temperature was minus 20-25 degrees celsius...and that is cold.... And that is why I wish summer lasted longer here in norway!

What kind of fuel are you on, crocheting so fast! . Cant wait to see this bell finished!

Don't know if you're into natural cure/preventative stuff but I swear by elderberry extract to avoid colds. During the school months we take 1 tsp. a day. You don't avoid the true influenza, but the common cold I believe it helps . . . Hope you're feeling better. Congrats on the official shirt and no longer being "just a sub"!!

Hi Beth - You know, I used to be a big fan of alternative medicines, but last year I tried elderberry syrup, taking it religiously, and I've honestly never been so sick! Cold after cold - at least 3 big ones that I remember vividly. That took away a bit of my enthusiasm! LOL

Well, I think that most teachers still consider me "just a sub" but it's good to be able to fool myself. ::wink::

Silja - I'll bet I'd be cured of wanting cold weather with just one season of winter with you! ....futile.... hehehe

Thanks, Andrea - I hope I don't go under too! I actually *can't* be sick next week - no sub to sub for the sub! :::grin::

Robbyn - I'm with you - I'm not sure why I like that bolero, I just do! :) I think in a variegated yarn it'll be smashing.

So cool that you got a school shirt! You really did get alot done on that pullover. It looks great.

Sorry bout the sore throat. DH and I were sick most of the year last year, then we found out the house had some mold. Check out the possibility or you will continuely feel lousey.

I really like that short sleeved blue sweater. Do you have a link to the pattern?
