One used set of Denise needles: sold to Margaret - she's fast!
Yes - I love the Knit Picks line that much. I plan on getting duplicate tips in the 7, 8 & 9 size, then and adding in a 10 & 10 1/2. Along with my original Denise set, that should hold me for awhile. :) This set is in great shape - there is some slight discoloration on one of the 10 1/2 needles from some "bleedy" yarn I used. The case is fine except for this corner:
$25.00 - that includes priority shipping. First email, first served. Oh yeah - the set is 2 years old. :)
In other news, this project just makes me smile:
I'm 5" inches in & almost through with my first skein of Saucy. There are pink Ballet Camisoles popping up all over. (It's funny how some patterns just have to be made in the color pictured!) I really should've done a tubular cast-on like Amy's - next time, definitely! Here's a great step by step tutorial. In general I'm enjoying my Saucy experience, although it is a very hard, rope-like cotton. I can see why Jill was less than thrilled. Hopefully she'll like what I've sent in return!
Speaking of liking cotton....guess what I bought?
7 skeins of Licorice CE - I couldn't help myself. ;) My local Tuesday Morning is opening up again today. I've heard they just might have some CE stocked. I'll probably mosey by...just to check. hehe
I've been wanting a bright, fun bracelet with charms for the summer and yesterday I made one:
I found the teapot charms at Wally-World and knew they were perfect. I was lazy, though, and just strung them on stretchy cord. :)
Happy Monday!
Sent you an email about the Denise needles. Hope I'm first!
Love-love-love your charm bracelet! My daughter loves teapots. Are you making & selling them?
Ooooh, more CE! You are having too much fun! LOL
Have a great day everyone!

Well, I have to admit that I first saw the ballet cami here. But I'm doing purple, not pink!!

Oh, and Amelia's tubular tutorial didn't include the best type of provisional cast-on -- crochet. Done right, there shouldn't be any "picking out" and your cast on row is threaded so you can pull through elastic if you want. Flip through Wiseman's book if you don't have it.

LOL - I should've said in the same color family, eh? On my monitor, yours looks purpley-pink! Yeah - there are several different ways of doing provisional cast-ons and I do like the crochet one because of my crochet background. :) I'll admit, though, that I've never spent a lot of time with my cast-ons and I know I should pay more attention 'cause it really does make a difference in the final product. :)

Is that cotton-ease from ebay? I think I was watching that auction and almost went for it, but decided my budget is hurting right now and Tony just wouldn't get it. I might check out Tuesday Mornings too.

No one can ever be faulted for snatching up Licorice C-E.
