Oooooh, thanks for the close-up of Mayan Treasure. Very pretty! You are right to do a simple pattern with the variegated; variegated is meant to "stand alone" and any pattern will be "lost." I love variegated yarns too.

One Knitty archived pattern I would really like to try is called The Cherries and is in Spring 03. There are 2 patterns, one Very Cherry and the other Cherry Twist. Not sure if I can post a link so I won't but it's under Tanks/Shells/Halters in the archives.

Have a great weekend everyone!

That Mayan Treasure is beautiful. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Something simple and elegant to let the lovely varigated yarn do the 'wow' work. Congrats on the new weight loss too. Sounds like you've earned every bit of it. Good for you.

Hey Margaret - Great minds think alike...I've had "The Cherries" printed out & in my file since it was first presented. I'm thinking I need to get around to it this summer, as a matter of fact. :)

Thanks, Terri. :) I'm just so happy to finally see progress with the loss. It's very hard to stay focused when there's no change for so long.

About Mayan Treasure - it's killin' me not to cast on! But I've vowed to myself to finish CeCe first. We'll see if I keep my word! hehe
