...is worse than showing none at all. Yesterday, between housework, running around & football games, I went from this:
to this:
Another inch & I'll start the ribbing. :)
This morning I decided I was desperate to crochet something. For many reasons, not the least of which is that people are starting to forget this is also a crochet blog. ::::wink::: So - because I couldn't think of anything new I wanted to start, (the key words are "wanted to start") I looked on my stash shelf & pulled out this:
This vest is made all in one piece, side to side. The two little points in the middle are the back detailing. I'm using Classic Elite's "Rain" and this pattern:
It's in The Weekend Crafter: Crochet - 20 Simple and Stylish Designs to Wear. I'd like to make this vest next (from the same book:)
I'm thinking I should be able to find some stash yarn for this one.
Next time, if the mailman is particularly good to me, I'll have a little stash enhancement to flash.
Just a little.
Honest!
Just say yes to vests - those are both great!
But you are just scary! I was just wondering if I ought to look into that Vogue Designer Knits book, and skimming your blog yesterday w/o time to read I noticed those two incredible sweaters, esp. the pink!!!! and now I find out I have another entry on my Want list, which all too soon for budgetary reasons becomes the HAVE to HAVE list! ;-)Darling sweater choices!
Great movies . . . . and cheesecake, mmmmmmmm!

I took your meme challenge - actually to cover up my lack of blogging content (smile).
Certainly the year of the vest for you - great choices.

Thanks, Cec. :) It's always good to hear someone else seconds my choices! I'm dying to cast on the pink - as soon as the wrap sweater is done, that's next on the needles.
Marie - I think I need to find more meme's - I don't have that much progress to show! yikes!
