Heya Bron! I love all your new beady stuff - tres chic :) I saw the shawl you sent to Marie... did you use Rainbow Boucle for that? 1 ball?? If so, I'd love to know where you got the pattern :). I bought some cause I couldn't resist the price and now I am out of ideas of what to do with it...after only 1poncho, hehe

Marie

What a gorgeous bracelet! Red is certainly your color right now.

And what wonderful candles.

Emma.

Wow ! It looks fantastic. I can hardly wait. I'm hoping your yarn will arrive tomorrow.
Fab beads. The red shine top is lovely. I'm amazed you haven'y cast on for it already. Must be the headache. Hope that's better. Find the spot right ibn the middle of your forhead. Apply increasingly firm pressure for a slow count of 7,release pressue, but not completely, and repeat twice more. Usually works for me !

Vera

Hope you feel better soon.

I plan to make the Romantic Cardigan for the Crochet Olympics, so I'm very curious to see how your's turns out.

The bracelet, yarn and top are nice too. I don't have many red items, but maybe I should get some more.

I'm glad the candles got to you safe and sound, and you like them. Patrick was a little worried about how they would hold up during shipping.

Bron

Thanks, Marie. :) I'm working up to having the beading patience to make one of your "Party" bracelets!

Emma - You'll LOVE the yarn - the colors are so vibrant! Let me tell you, if I didn't have 5 projects going right now, I'd have cast on for that top as soon as I'd opened the box. :)

I do need to explore & find the right accu-pressure point for my headaches. Usually they aren't too bad, but this one's been a doozy.

Vera - I really have nothing red in my closet either. I don't know why I've avoided the color for so long...although it looks like I'm making up for lost time!

Pam

Awesome bracelet! I love ladybugs. This reminds me that I want to put a link on my blog to my ladybug collection.

Bron

Thanks, Pam. :) I saw those cloisonne beads in the store & knew exactly what I needed to do with them!

Robbyn

That bracelet is just adorable and I have also admired that Knitpicks top. You have such good taste :)

Hope your poor head feels better!

Dawn

Beautiful red coral! and I love the Romantic Cardi. Damn, I need another book like I need another hole in my head, but I may have to break down cause it is soooooo pretty.

Love the bracelet! I haven't started the Romantic cardi yet - I am trying to decide on yarn to use. Is the headache from sinus? You can try pressing the points above the inner canthus of your eye - just put your thumb against the inner corner of your eye and pull up along your nose till you reach your eyebrow press into the slight indentation you feel there hold for about 20 seconds or so then rub out the point. You can also hold the point in your nose right where the bone ends and cartilage begins - press in and up towards the skull - that will help drain the sinus cavities and release pressure. Hope you feel better soon

Bron

Dawn - Trust me. You need to break down & buy this book. At least take a look at the bookstore - you'll really like it!

Colette - Thanks! This particular headache wasn't sinus, but I do get them so I appreciate the advice. :) I feel better now, but it took a couple of days!

I think Romantic Cardi would look great in any color of yarn - can't wait to see which you pick. :)

Bron

Thank, Robbyn. :) Although now that I look at the pattern, I'm less than thrilled with knitting the entire thing on size 2 needles! I think I might have to "re-think" that pattern!
