You are getting pretty far on the afghan.

I love Amaryllis. We got one about 7 years ago, but haven't been able to get it to bloom for the past 2 years. It use to bloom twice a year.

I have the seeds from it, but wouldn't know if it was that easy to just put seeds in dirt and water them or if there is some other method to get them to grow into a big Amaryllis. If you are interested in some seeds, let me know.

i agree skooshy is a word, I was just unsure how to spell it! ;)

I was just eyeing up some amaryllis bulbs tonight, they're so pretty. I think I'll plan for one next year and have it ready to bloom for the holidays. I liked the Cindy in cotton ease the first time and still now, seeing it again. Just love the color of it.

Thanks, Wendy. :) I'm really bad with bulbs - I need to read up on them so I can have some that consistently bloom year after year. It just seems to be one more thing that I lose track of. Sigh. I'm not sure about seeds either - another reason to research!

Jewels - I'm with you- I love the color too. I'll probably make my next Cyndy from the Bubblegum CE again - that pink just makes me smile. :)
