You will love your ball winder. It is such a huge time saver. I went from spending 2.5 hours hand winding center-pull balls to doing the same type and length in 15 minutes with the ball winder.

And congrats on the great deal... they're pricey little buggers.

Dani

Its looking lovely! Even though I am not a big fan of Joann's stores, they do have great online deals. I always get their emails with 50% off coupons! I bought a bunch of bamboo bag handles for dirt cheap!

I haven't seen that online mag, Spun, yet... I will have to do a quick read. There are tons around these days. I feel like I am out of the loop with not knowing about so many, but its more because they are new! GOod luck knitting!

I've been so stuck in my own morass that I was unable to keep up on my blog stalking... and you have a ball winder! Ok, so not to enhance your Joann's money suckage or anything, BUT, I saw online they have really pretty swifts on sale for $50 and also, can't you use the coupon that comes in the mail on their website? 40% off that would be a steal! And, Hi Bron!

Bron

Hi Leisel - Yea, they ARE pricey. I've been looking & looking, trying to find one at least under $30. I was thrilled to find the sale. :)

Hey Dani - I depend on blogs to let me in on the new online mags - most, I think, will fall by the wayside pretty quickly. :(

Hehehehe...Hi Laurie....Yes, I *could* just buy a swift (thanks for pointing out that other coupon, you enabler, you) but then I'd "deprive" hubbie of the "fun" and "adventure" of making one for me...and I'd hate to disappoint him. :::wink:::
