Robbyn

ROFL - Play Led Zeppelin to my ferns? Phooey - they can listen to Mendelssohn and Evanescence like the rest of us :)

Marie

What a cool science project! I tried to get my daughter to do her project along the same premiss, but she choose tsunamis. Gabriel did a cool science experiment with grubby pennies and different kinds of soda drinks.

Vera

I'm glad you like the prizes. They are a good way to reduce stash. The book thongs are fun and very easy to make too.

Shannon/Luna

Heh... Mythbusters did a bit on playing music and talking to plants awhjile back, and I seem to remember that they got a similar result...
Yep, looked it up, and the best set of plants were the ones that 'listened' to heavy metal (though they had some experimental problems, and most of the plants died!)

Bron

Hehehe....Robbyn...shame on you, stunting their growth!

Hey Marie - I saw both of those projects at the Science Fair on Thurs. :)

Shannon - Yeah, I remember watching that one. (We love Mythbusters around here.) I think it's cool that rock wins...that speaks to my aging rocker soul. hehehe Black Sabbath rules!

Donna

Vera did a beautiful job on the book thong! And I love that Crocheted Scarves book. My niece was doing the same project. I think on hers, the ones with no music were doing best. ;-)

Bron

Donna - how interesting! She must be doing something right - almost everyone I've found who's done the experiment has come out with rock winning. Tell her she's definitely special!
