Your take on the old Crest of the Wave is beautiful in that glittery yarn - what an elegant, sumptuous scarf!

And the poncho is perfect if it works for YOU! It seems as though it will be perfect for many others as well :) Very cute!

Thanks, Robbyn. :) I can always count on you for the nicest compliments...and to remain silent when you don't have anything nice to say. :::wink:::

You're right - I'm starting to love that dang poncho & hang the critics! It'll be just the thing to throw on when I take the dog out on chilly evenings, or when I sit out on the patio in the mornings knitting. :)

I had to laugh at the Clint Eastwood reference! I was talking to my oldest about a poncho and she said, "you know, I always think of Clint Eastwood when I think of ponchos" and we looked at each other and whistled *that tune*...."deedle deedle deeeeee... wah, waaah wahhh....deedle deedle deeeee wa, waaah wahhhhhhh..." and now everyone in the house has it stuck on replay in our heads...

I love the scarf, wayyyyy coool. :) L

Where did you find the pattern for that gorgeous poncho?? I am looking for one to do myself. Please help me? I am desperate!! *sighing*
