Lisa in Oregon

I'm soooooo jealous. My kids don't start for, um.....18 days....sigh. I love 'em, you know, but...geez.

I have been having the itch to sew too. I have been sort of fighting my sewing machine and one of my plans this weekend is to try to clean/oil it...we'll see.

:) Happy day Bron, enjoy it...and think of all of us who are still waiting for school to start.... :0

Emma

You'll be busy today ! Even if you get half of that done. ;-]
How lovely to have a glut of beautiful fruit.
Have a great weekend too.

Marie

I am so jealous. I wish I could have time home alone. Happy knitting/sewing Bron.

Knittykim

Perhaps you could trade jam or apple butter with selected readers for yarn or patterns or compliments??

Bron

Yeah, Lisa, I totally understand. I love the kids (and the husband!) but dang - I need a little time to myself. :)

Marie - I enjoyed my time enough for both of us. ;)

Yes, Emma - those blossoming fruit trees I blogged about a few months ago actually come through!

Good idea Kim. Hmmmm...possibilities!

Nathalie

wow that sounds great having lots of peaches and apples to preserve! we ended up juicing lots of grapefruit and tomatoes (the latter of which i managed to nurse through most of winter!) now it is almost time to start planting summer vegies etc and get back out into the garden again

oh, for the joys of a day to myself with only craft to do!!!

Cheers

Robbyn

Ohhh - I envy you the abundance of fresh fruit, especially the peaches :)

Hope your day was pleasant and peaceful. I'll keep you company in waiting for an order from Elann!
