thanks for the heads up in relation to XP (as someone still living in the dark ages without it) - i jst LOVE the summer top ! it looks excellent - just a brilliant shape - i had a favourite top shaped like that with matching cardi which was just beautifully fitted. you will look just smashing in it! now the only thing is ... what colour to choose?

Hi Nat - You know, I think the worst thing about XP is that once it gets screwed up, you can't take it off a computer & put it (or something else) back on. It's the only OS out there that is permanently wedded to the computer. That is BAD in my opinion.

I'm think a bright lavender or periwinkle for that top....probably Lion Brand Microspun. Hmmmm....

I bought Hot Knits earlier this summer. I have one project on needles right now plus several more, including the orange top, planned. I also like Melissa Leapmann very much. Seeing several of her designs in the new Creative Knitting convinced me to subscribe.

I'll have to look into Creative Knitting. :) I think what most appeals to me about her designs is that they are contemporary & modern without being trendy. I feel like once I knit a "Leapman" I'll be able to wear it for years to come. :)

that is so freakey - that is the colour my top was in!!!! i'll send you a photo one day- just ordered a copy of that book - it'll be worth it for that top alone!

YAY for winning the yarn auction! That book is top on my wish list.
