SO sorry to hear there's more bad news about the folks :( Stay strong.

I LOVE the "Silverado" needles - they are comfortable to use, have nice, smooth joins and a very nice, soft cable. You'll enjoy them :)

Forget the snobs. If it (the tool) works good, it is good (to paraphrase Duke Ellington, who said about music "if it sounds good, it is good).

I'm also sorry to hear about your aunt and her family.

Thanks, Theresa. :) Most of my relatives - and my husband's - are well into their 80's so the next few years will be rough ones as people pass on.

And yeah - I don't pay too much attention to the "real" yarn snobs. If they can afford it, more power to them!

I'm sooo jealous that your kiddos are back in school. I'm at the stage where I'm making a mad dash to round up school supplies for mine. They head back on the 2nd of Sept.

Sorry about the bad news about your parents and your Aunt's husband. It wasn't a good weekend for my mom either. My thoughts are with you.

I am no yarn snob, in case you haven't figured that out! Sounds like some cool stuff at Michael's. I like the silverado, I have a couple and they do very nicely for me.

----"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Sir Stephen Henry Roberts (1901-1971)
