Marie, Your (former) Secret Knitting Pal

You'll have a little "Archie and Edith" going on there once DH gets his chair.

My DH has a butt ugly Salvation Army special. One day I may spring for a brand spanking new Lazy Boy for him.

Marie

Ignor the whole "Former Secret Knitting Pal" handle - I'm a little dyslexic with my clicking today.

Amy

Hey, if the chair fits, sit in it! (or something to that effect). Have fun walking around in the air-conditioned mall! Have a frappacino for me :-)

Bron

I hear you both - comfort over aesthetics every time!

I'm just wondering if I'm brave enough to try to recover it myself. By the time I'd pay someone to do it, I might as well buy a new chair!

Karen

Don't laugh, I have a recliner the SAME color, and I paid the same price you paid. Can't complain. Besides, this "color" is coming back in style.

Here's something to give you a laugh. When I moved into the place I'm living, both bathrooms where painted that color!!!!!!!!!!! The bathrooms have since been painted, one light blue and one light green and it sure helps the eyes out! :->

Tootles!

Pam

Hey, if it's comfy for knitting, you're all set. :)

Bron

Thanks Karen & Pam. :)

Karen - I actually painted our dining room that color...well, it's toned down a bit. Gave it a real 1920's flair.

Pam - yep, I agree - a truly comfy knitting chair is very hard to find!
