ACK! Sorry about the root canal and the demise of the Shapely tank. It doesn't sound like you had much fun yesterday :(

Doesn't putting up with all that BS entitle you to some unexpected and semi-luxurious stash enhancement now? :)

You know, I just love all the summer tanks I see but all I seem to be making is winter stuff too. Oh well, we'll see how jealous they all are when my Christmas knitting is all done and they are frantic! They they will wish they'd spent their summers with a lap full of hot alpaca, too, I daresay.

Uli

Well, well.... I found you. I was wondering hwere you were on the old blog and I had no idea that you were having problems. I guess I just looked at the title of the last entry there and thought......... wow, Bron hasn't updated in a long time. I hope she's okay.... and then by some fate, I found a link somewhere else pointing to your new blog.

Bron

You might be on to something, Jen. Is it allowed for me to say "Ha! In your FACE!" sometime around November when people are bemoaning their Christmas knitting woes? What's the use of being so far ahead if I can't rub it in? Hehehehehe

Uli - so glad you found me - sorry you were out of the loop but I emailed you my explanation. :)

Bron

Robbyn - you're an evil enabler but I forgive you. :::Grin::: Actually, stash enhancement was on my mind big time yesterday as the dentist was drilling away. But I'm still hanging on by a thread (much like my tooth!) and being good. We'll see how long it lasts! ha!

Marie

Thanks for letting me know your where-abouts. I am much more inclined to fall/winter knitting than summer - I love wooly yarns, cotton not so much. I'm still plodding along on my shapely tank, but I think once that is off the needles, I'll begin the fall/winter knitting, even though it may be 100+ outside and I DON'T have A/C!

Oh Bron - SYMPATHY SYPMATHY SYMPATHY

i have a santa sock pattern for 5 ply that fits a lifesavers packet perfectly if you would like - they look great on the tree (I imagine - have yet to tackle this one myself) - it would not be hot on your lap and makes great little presents for teachers etc

letme know

Bron

Hi Marie - we should start a "Winter knitting in Summer" knit-a-long. Hehehehe

Thanks for the offer, Nat. :) But please tell me they are knitted flat & then sewn together? I think itty-bitty socks knitted on dpns would be the death of me right now! ha!
