Because I found out about yet another good grade I received from my professor at NM State, I rewarded myself by not doing any work yesterday. I'm paying for it today with extra stuff to do, but I took time yesterday to browse Ravelry and buy a new magazine:
There are usually 2 or 3 things that I like in IC but this time the issue outdid itself:
I haven't done Bruges lace in a long time and this is lovely:
Love the diagonal lines:
I like the woodland feel of this:
Perfect for a few leftover skeins:
I like the gathered detail and simplicity:
Since I'm semi-sick of sweaters, a throw might be just the ticket. This is a super-easy lace pattern that looks really spiffy:
Although I won't be making them, I really liked the look of these gloves/mitts:
So there you have it. I'm really thinking I need to crochet something for the instant gratification factor involved. It's so much faster than knitting and I don't have much time these days so....it seems like a no-brainer, eh?
On the other hand, while perusing Ravelry I saw Kim Hargreave's Blithe from her Shades of Pale Collection and really liked it. Perfect for some cotton I have stashed.
