Take That, Bad JuJu!!!

I didn't want to mention it here until it was final, but Doug was offered a new job today!

He'll be moving to a new Lowe's opening in Rio Rancho (a suburb of Albuquerque about 5 minutes away from us) as an appliance specialist - straight selling (commission!) plus a 10% raise, and no management responsibilities like he has now. (He's the appliance dept. head backup right now. ) He's thrilled. It means lots more $$ and a new place to be. He was getting terribly burned out at this location. He always complained his other duties kept him from selling the numbers he wanted - now he has a chance to shine.

It's quite a surprise that he landed it - he figured there were so many other people applying that he didn't have a chance.

Yay, Doug!

The small annoyances we've put up with this summer pale beside the good stuff - great new jobs for us both!
