Thank you all so much! I'm honored to be included on your lists of blogs that you read & enjoy. :) (Bless you for staying around even when my wit has left and I'm boring as all get-out!) I'm thinking about the 10 blogs I'd like to include - I've really been enjoying finding new & interesting blogs from other lists I've seen.
Then yesterday I saw that Terry listed me as one of her 5 picks for the Nice Matters Award:
Like Terry, I do try to stay upbeat & positive, especially when the choice is between laughing & crying. (Crying makes my eyes puffy & my nose run. Better to get a few more laugh lines.) Thanks so much, Terry! My mother would be so happy to know that her exhortation to "just be nice" paid off. ::wink::
I'm always thrilled to get blog awards. :) I don't take either readership or popularity for granted and I really appreciate being remembered for things like this.
I thought I'd share my quadruple Amaryllis:
I think it's the first time I've had 4 on one stem.
Here's a bit more lovely greenery:
A wee bit of Tahki cotton ribbon from eBay. The color is a little washed out in the picture - it's really a nice, dark, khaki green.
With all this new yarn coming in, you'd think I'd have some knitting to show, wouldn't you?
I'll spare you another orange blob pic of Autumn Tee. And I think I've decided what to do with that charcoal CE, but I was so tired last night I screwed up the cast-on. Sigh.
I need to crochet something, I think. Maybe I'll get back to this shawl:
Only NOT using this yarn:
I'm thinking that silk yarn needs to be a vest (even though I don't wear vests) and that I have some lovely, spring green yarn given to me by Wendy last year that might just be the ticket for the shawl.
I swear - I haven't dithered so much over patterns in years!
Friday's almost here........
