Marie

Wow! That shell is beautiful and such a good fit! Great color too; it'll go with just about anything. Now you'll just need a bangle or two.

In California we say "kitty-corner." Does "catty" come from the Mid-West or South-West?

Leisel

It looks great! I love the mottled look of the fabric, and this shows off your new figure so nicely!

Vera

The shell looks great! I really how the yatrn knitted up.

I say "kitty corner," but I think most people in my neck of the woods say "catty."

Dawn

That top fits you perfectly! you did a great job. Yeah!!

Bron

Thanks, Marie - I think "catty" is a midwest/south thing. Of course, I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule!

Thanks Leisel, Vera & Dawn - I finally got a top that fits - yeah! After frogging 6 times. Ick!

Margaret

Great job! I almost didn't recognize you! You look GREAT! Just don't disappear on us. LOL

How many stitches did you cast on for the shell?

Bron

Margaret - I cast on 60 stitches. I was getting 3 sts/inch, so 60 would give me a 40" bust. :)

Don't worry - I'm not disappearing yet! Just wait until the next 30 pounds are gone - then I'll REALLY be skinny! hehehe

Mia

Bron, we all know how weak you are when it comes to buying yarn. The new sweater looks nice

Robbyn

You are the most amazing knitter. Your shell looks fabulous!

Tifffany

Bron! That top looks awesome on you! And I don't usually lkike sleeveless knits. And that constantly concerned looking photo face you do is adorable!!

Bron

Thanks Robbyn & Tiff - I really wasn't sure until I sewed it together that it was going to work! whew!

And I really need to work on my concerned face. I try to smile, but right when I snap the pic I concentrate again! Sheesh.
