Andrea

I definitely prefer to knit for me too. I'm working on that crayon baby blanket, and I'm *waaay* more excited about it than they are... I'd be tempted to keep it, but maybe the baby will find it more thrilling than they do. ;) I've had to start making socks for others, because my sock drawer is overflowing.

If I were a small child, I'd love that blanket. Heck - I wouldn't mind it right now! ;) So I think your time is well spent.

Now the sock thing I'll never understand. ;)

Leisel

I really like the purple & green ribbed sweater you're working on. It's so fun how it looks like a diamond pattern at the top.

And, thanks for showing the sweater you've started out of Katia Spray. I love the way it looks, and I would've had no idea from looking at the yarn on elann that it would turn out so pretty.

I'm really glad you're going to keep going on Tapestry. I really want to see how it turns out with your modifications.

Dani

I love tapestry! That looks like a fun knit with all those cables!

Bron

Thanks, Leisel - I'm glad I remembered that purple/green sweater. This time I think I can finish it. :) I wish I'd gotten a more colorful version of the Katia Spray, but at least this neutral will go with a lot of different things.

Dani - It IS fun, but fussy! I'm really crossing my fingers that my changes will work. If they do, it'll be a "showpiece" sweater for me. :)

Larry

I'm looking forward to seeing your changes to Tapestry. I like the cabling but I think the drawstring makes it look like a bedjacket. I have a bag of Katia Spray that I got to make a shawl. I'm beginning to think it would look better as a sweater. I've only had it for a couple of years so there's no hurry.
