I've been called in today, so once again my post will be brief. Hopefully we'll be dismissed early & I can be home in time for Trick-or-Treating. :)
I made progress yesterday on the first sleeve for Seaweed. I'm making them 3/4 length (on purpose!) and am needing to tweak the decreases a bit to make everything work out at the armhole. That's why I'm making one sleeve at a time rather than two. I'm tweaking as I go, and if I need to rip I'd rather do it on just one sleeve rather than both!
We don't have any plans for the weekend, so it's possible I'll have Seaweed finished by Sunday. ::::crossing fingers:::::
I picked up the Vogue Holiday Issue ('cause basically I can't help myself) and I have some thoughts to share - in the next day or two. I also want to talk about the benefits of not knitting in a vacuum - brought on, by all things, when I turned a the page on my "365 Knitting Stitches a Year" calendar. Curious yet? :::wink::::
Here's wishing a happy, spooky, shivery Halloween to all who celebrate and a Blessed Samhain to those on a different path. Whatever your beliefs, take a moment today to remember those who have gone before, your loved ones especially.
And don't eat too much candy! (Send it my way instead - haha!)
